Thanksgiving in UT 2010
My sister in law Kate made this video, and I can't get enough of it. Good thing I wasn't there I think I would've freaked out seeing Owen doing front flips off the diving board.

Owen's 6th birthday!
This year was just a family birthday party at incredible pizza! We had so much fun! Owen's favorite parts of the day were; being able to celebrate with his friends at school, having Dad home all day, four wheeling in the snow, mini golf and games, getting two remote control cars, and being in charge of what he wanted to do for that entire day!

Six years ago today...

(picture taken by Azure B and edited by me)
My sweet little Owen was born! He was due on the 14th and when I went in for my routine check up on the 1st my doctor said we were ready to go! So Chris and I went home to pack our things for the hospital. I was induced at 2:30 and had him around 8:15. Our lives were changed forever. I immediately fell in love with Owen he really was the cutest little newborn ever. He continues to bless our lives and feels it with never ending fun and joy! Happy birthday Owen we love you to the moon and back!
Things that are happening in Owens life right now;
A big kindergartner and loving it!
Getting ready to start basketball for the first time.
Loves writing in notebooks and drawing pictures.
Playing football with Dad while watching it on TV.
Takes showers by himself.
Loves playing with his friends every second he gets.
Currently has $85 dollars in his wallet!
Owen and Chris had the cutest conversation the other night. Owen was wondering when he was going to be a Dad. Chris replied when you find someone you love and get married and then you will have children together. Owen was a little worried that he had to pick just one girl. He told Chris that he had lots of girlfriends and loved them all and couldn't just pick one. I guess he really does have a big heart, but lets keep it for just one lady, Owen!

Old Fashioned Fruit Crumble
This was just so yummy I had to share!

2 1/2 cups frozen berries (Marion berry mix from Costco)
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons of whole wheat flour, divided
1 tablespoon orange juice
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup pecans
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoon canola oil
Preheat oven to 400*F.
Combine fruit with sugar, 1 tablespoon flour and orange juice. Divide among four 6 ounce ovenproof ramekins. Combine oats, nuts, brown sugar, the remaining 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon. Drizzle with oil and stir to combine. Sprinkle over the fruit mixture. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet.
Bake until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving.
I also added a little organic blueberry flax granola from Harmon's before baking.
This recipe was tweaked a little bit, but for the original recipe go here.

Owens artwork
Owens Halloween parade.
This year Owen was very indecisive about what he wanted to be. After two trips to the costume store and coming out each time with tears I decided I would look on my own. So I brought home this race car driver outfit and he loved it, problem solved! He looked so cute walking with his class to showoff all their costumes!

Family Pictures
Done by the beautiful Brienne Poole, go here to see her work! Oh I love these so much. My kids were actually cooperative and loved little Ms. Brienne. I do have to say I like being on the other end of this much better. My whole day I was stressed about making sure my kids got rest so they wouldn't lose it by the end of the night. And making sure we were all ready to go and be out the door on time. So this helped give me a little compassion on my clients, you have it much harder than me. Anyways enjoy just a few of my favorites!

Olivia's first day of Preschool..
To say she was even excited would be an understatement. Liv couldn't wait to get out of my car and go to school. I was lucky to even get these pictures because she was hurrying so fast to get inside. I think I was just as excited as her, because for me I had a whole two and a half hours to myself. I hate to see my kids grow up, but man it is kind of nice to have this freedom while they are gone!

First day of Kindergarten..
The day has finely come! Owen has been on the countdown now for weeks. Yesterday his nerves were a little strong and the poor guy hardly ate a thing. But this morning he was up and ready and couldn't wait to go. I gave in and let him pick his outfit, does he look sporty or what? First day was a success! I asked him if he had fun or was it a little boring, he replied kind of both.

Too young to drive.
While I was having a great time in Minnesota with my Sister in law, I get a text from Chris that said, " You are not going to believe what just happened." In a panic I called him to ask what was wrong. Well Olivia thought it would be fun to take the car for a spin. Somehow she was able to get it in neutral which brought the car to move down the driveway onto the neighbors sidewalk and then back up to the bottom of our driveway. Chris heard her crying as she was walking up the driveway, just to find that the car was no longer in the garage. I asked her over the phone if she was scared, and she replied yes I then asked if she would ever do it again and she replied yes. This is just an example of how are little Liv is. She is 3 years old and has already made the first attempt to drive our car isn't that a little young? I am just so grateful no one was playing in our yard and that no one got hurt. I wish Chris took pictures, but I am sure they were all just a little shaken up. Lets just hope this is the last time Liv attempts to do something like this!

Olivia turns 3
Olivia is now 3 years old! She was so excited for her birthday party. We invited a couple of friends and cousins over to celebrate with us. I don't think I have ever seen someone burn through opening presents like her. She loved all of her presents, and chooses something different every night to sleep with her, even if it is a Dora racquetball.
Olivia's birthday itinerary:
Wake up with curlers still intact.
Owen attempts to get her dressed in soccer uniform, but mom protests that she needs to look like a princess on her birthday.
Play with Hunter and pull his hair.
Eat cinnamon rolls with Dad.
Get beautiful for her party.
Guests arrive.
Have a fun filled birthday party with presents, games, and cupcakes.
Friends leave.
Read stories with Dad.
Take a good nap.
Go swimming at the rec. center.
Meet Grandma and Grandpa Conger at JCWs for dinner.
Go swimming at our pool.
Go to bed with a bed full of new toys and a big smile!
Liv I am so in love with you. And even though you can make me cry and want to pull my hair out, I am so grateful for you and that you are mine forever! Love you and Happy Birthday.

Prayers please...
I called my best friend this morning just to chat, when I knew in a minute something was wrong. Her beautiful sister in law was in a bad bicycle accident this morning and we need every ones prayers. She is a young mother with two beautiful kids and a loving husband. My heart has been hurting all day, I want to help in anyway, but know that this is the best I can do. Please remember her in your prayers today and hold your little ones close.

Dutch oven night with friends.
This last Saturday night we went to AF canyon to enjoy some time with friends. We are just so lucky to have friends that our amazing cooks, go here to see what they had in store for us. While the adults enjoyed talking amongst ourselves the little ones were off exploring in the woods. We had so much fun. I could do that every weekend, as long as the Clements were cooking!
Love these photos of the cute little girlies, Dayna just woke up so she was just warming up a bit.
