Tis the season....

to be Jolly right? This Christmas has begun a little differently for me this year. I have been sick with the flu for almost a week now and since I have been out and subject to my couch these last couple of days I have struggled to find the joy and happiness that this times usually brings. With the very sad and unfortunate events that played out in Connecticut I can't help but ask myself Why? Why on earth would this happen? And what if it happened to me? My heart is so sad for those families and I can not even began to imagine their pain and heartache. For them I wish for the second coming to come now! I want them to be able to hold their little ones again and not have to wait here on earth for that to happen. I have hugged my little ones a little more and cried quite a bit, but then my thoughts just turn towards the families and wish they could do the same. I pray that they will find extreme comfort during this time and be able to feel our Heavenly Fathers love for them! I hope we can all remember the true meaning of Christmas this year and reach out to those who may need a little more love and kindness! Merry Christmas from all of us! *I can not wait to add one more little boys pictures in here! Only 3 months to go!

Bedtime switch-up

Sometimes we will find Olivia in Owen's bed or Owen in Olivia's bed. And lately they have been setting up their own littles beds in the living room. One night I found this and thought it looked really cozy so I left them there! Little boogers:-)

Owen turns 8 and is baptized!

This was such a special day for our Family! Owen was able to get baptized on his birthday, and have all his family and friends there to support him. I was surprised that Owen wasn't more nervous than he was. He was so excited for it, and couldn't wait for his Daddy to dunk him! He received a journal from his Grandma Ricki and he recorded a little about his baptism: "I got to be a member of the Church. I got the best gift ever. It was the gift of the Holy Ghost. I felt cold on the outside and warm on the inside. I felt so good. I like to bear my testimony that I know the Church is true. I hope you make the choice to be baptized. I am preparing to go on a mission!" To say I was and am proud of him is a total understatement. He amazes me everyday, and I am so grateful for him in our lives. Olivia and Evan are so lucky to have him as a big brother! After we had a little party with the Burtons side at Jump On it in Orem! The kids and even some of the adults had a blast. Owen was already doing backflips into the foam pits by the end. We had the best day, and Owen even said this was his best birthday yet!

Our ten year anniversary!

I can't believe it has been 10 years! I thought for sure on this anniversary I would have a new diamond eternity band and be sitting on the beach somewhere sipping Pina Coladas! I was a little bit off, but I wouldn't change things for a second! We took off to Park City for the weekend just to enjoy eachothers company. Our kids stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Burton and had a great time, and so did we! I am so sad because the only picture I took is of us driving home in the big snow storm:-( I think we were just way too busy having fun. We fine dined, shopped, relaxed, and watched movies! I sure am in love with my Chris. Yes we definitely have our bumps in the road but he is my best friend, and he still makes me laugh. Love you to the moon and back! Happy 10 years!

On our actually anniversary night I made my man a steak dinner, sadly I couldn't eat too much of mine. Anytime I prepare meat while pregnant it just does not look appetizing. But he was satisfied!

5 months pregnant with baby #4

This pregnancy has gone by way too fast for me. I want to make sure that I enjoy each and every moment with this being my last. I am so excited to meet him, and can't wait to see what he looks like (I am picturing a little blondie with big blue eyes just like Olivia!) This pregnancy was a bit of a rough road at the beginning, but am really enjoying it in my second trimester. I have had very little cravings, but always love a good treat. I am keeping active and trying to excercise everyday, which helps enlighten my mood at times! Only 4 1/2 months to go!

Olivia and Evan

These two little ones drive me absolute bananas, but when they are getting along my heart melts! They are the best little buddies and when Olivia isn't tormenting him she is the best little helper, and Evan just adores her. I have loved watching these two become closer and I think when the new baby comes they will become even closer. I sure love these little rascals:-)

Evan 18 months old

This shoot maybe took three minutes at most, but I sure got what I wanted! This little chair did the trick! You were so excited to climb all over it and be a big boy. Wow these 18 months have flown by way too fast. And you have changed so much especially in these last two months. You are hitting your terrible twos a little early and way too soon for my liking. You are constantly throwing fits and tantrums when you don't get what you want or when I have to tell you "No, No." This little phase has been very hard for me and has limited what I can do, because I absolutely dread taking you anywhere because when they come...yikes...Watch Out!! But man when you are sweet you are very very sweet! You give the best hugs and whenever anyone is sad you will be the first to give loves and kisses. You have finally taken your first steps a couple weeks ago and have been progressing everyday. My goal was Halloween to have you walking, but I think we might just be a couple weeks off of that. You love to jibber jabber and sometimes you and I can have some pretty interesting conversations. I am so in love with you, and I could kiss those chubby cheeks of yours all day! Happy 18 months to sweet baby boy!

Olivia's Pumpkin Patch field trip

I was so excited to go with Olivia on her field trip, it is always fun for me to have one on one time with her! We went to the pumpkin patch in Pleasant Grove and had so much fun with her little kindergarten friends! She was quite proud to bring me along too. Her favorite part was definitely going down the big slide and picking out her own pumpkin.

St. George trip with all our cousins.

Owen, Olivia, and I headed down to St. George for the weekend without Chris and Evan. We went to go visit Jamie and new baby Frankie. We had so much fun hanging out with all their cousins. We had excellent weather and were able to do lots of fun things like; bowling, swimming, playing and watching movies, ice cream, and lots of late nights.

After finding out I was having another little boy, I wanted Olivia and I to go do something fun and she wanted to get her haircut! So here she is looking all dolled up and cute!

Baby Number Four

I have been tossing and turning all night with all these mixed emotions. Last night we went to Fetal Fotos to find out if this little nugget was a boy or girl. This is my last pregnancy and I knew I would be happy either way, but was really hoping for one more little girl. I am not ready to part with my little pink frilly things, baby bows (which have come a long way even since Olivia was born), and was ready for a changeup since just having Evan. But I was wrong and when he said boy I teared up a little. I felt sad that there was not going to be any more girls in our family but then I felt guilty for feeling sad. I just keep looking into my future; I will have to deal or I guess love 3 daughter in laws who might take my sons away. Olivia won't have that sister to grow up with to talk with and trade clothes and share her secrets with. But I guess I need to keep positive and look at all the good; Evan will have a best friend who will be just 2 short years behind him, Olivia will have three special bodyguards, and I will get to love one more momma's boy! So here is to one more and last pregnancy! I can't wait to meet you littly boy!

Olivia's first day of Kindergarten

I thought I was so ready for this day, but to be honest I was really sad to see her go! She was so excited and was ready all morning. She goes in the afternoon so having to wait all morning was a bit rough. Daddy met us for lunch and then we took her to school together. She looked so cute and even picked out her outfit and hairdo. We sure love you little Liv!

Owen starts 2nd grade!

I have a new 2nd grader! He is so excited and is such a social butterfly. I never worry about Owen making new friends. I am so excited for what this year is going to bring my little bud!

Olivia's 5th birthday party

We had just a couple of Olivia's close friends over for cake and ice cream, and then we went over to the jump on it place in Lehi! We also were able to meet Dad for lunch at Chick Fil A. She had so much fun, and loved being the center of attention! Happy 5 years my little Liv!
