I was so excited to take Olivia's one year pictures. She cooperated very well. I knew if I just let her play and follow her around, I was bound to get some good pics. This was so fun! Chris and Owen were great assistants, and I even got a couple of cute pictures of Owen.

Glitter toes....

This seems to be the new trend lately I see and hear about glitter/gel toes all the time. This is such a fun way to accessorize your feet! Plus this lasts for weeks, and is so fun for the summer. I am so lucky to have such talented sisters, both Jade and Jamie can do them for only $20. There are tons of colors to choose from, and you can do them at your house, mine or theirs. So if any one is interested let me know.

The Fourth

Nothing like good food with good friends. We had a good, calm Fourth of July this year. Went swimming in the morning and lunch with my Fam. And later had a BBQ with our good friends. Owen loved the fireworks, but I think Dirt and Chris enjoyed them a little more, wasn't able to get any good pictures of them acting like they were 10 again. Dirt mentioned that me and Hill were looking like tourists with are cameras flashing every 5 seconds, so we put them away for the night. Olivia was enjoying the fireworks all tucked cozy in her bed, maybe next year.

Ouch..

Last Sunday we were all out looking for golf balls at the golf course, when all of the sudden I hear some (girlish, he would beg to differ) screams from Chris coming out of the bushes. Yep he was stung by a furry big bee. Not only was he stung on his lip, but also his finger. These pictures do not even do it justice. It was so swollen I thought for sure he had had an allergic reaction. I felt so bad for him, but you know those situations where you just can't stop laughing, he had to remind me that some people die from bee stings. But he looked so funny, and when he talked, oh man I would lose it.
Well two days of his lip slowly returning to its normal size I am happy to report that he has recovered, and doing great!

Good ol' Kamas

We always love being able to go to Kamas. Its always refreshing to get out of the busy city. Chris's family lives on about 5 acres, with four wheelers, Plasma cars, a barn with Alpacas, and Three dogs. Owen could live up there, it is always non stop fun with his cousins. I would have to say him riding the four wheelers is one of his favorties, and I didn't even get a picture of him on it. Olivia just loves to watch everyone play and wishes she was fast enough to keep up with them all.

Long time no see....Well the Burton Clan has been busy this last month. Owen took his first baseball class, and at first I wanted to just leave, he would not participate the whole first class, really disappointing. But after that day, he decided it was more fun playing with the kids, then sitting by his mom on the bleachers. Wahoo, way to go Owen!
Olivia started crawling and is all over the place, she is loving this new freedom. And just the other day she started standing up. She does the funniest little face when standing up. Will post pictures of them soon. (Trying to get the perfect picture for that one.)
As for me and Chris, having fun with good friends, going to St. George for a much needed little vacation, and going on a little more dates than usual.
Looks like I will have way less time to myself, with these now two mobile kids, yikes!

Best buddies

Owen loved having Aisers here this last week to play. Olivia loved to watch Easton, and laugh at him, but he wasn't so sure about her. If ever Grandpa or Grandma was holding Olivia, and not him, he would get pretty upset.
Owen didn't get stuck playing prince or having to dance like cinderella this time, except Owen did want to play with babydolls, he loves babies!
They are so cute together, and sometimes fight like siblings. On the way and back from the zoo, Aisley was singing to loud and Owen was getting pretty mad, but hey that gave her all the more reason to sing even just a little louder. And then Owen would do the same back to her. But I have to say these guys are great buddies. And Owen is so happy that she is only a couple of hours away, instead of being in Pennsylvania!

I just bought her album. Love it! I can't stop listening to it. Definitely recommend it to everyone.
