Happy Mothers day to all the Mothers!!!!

I have been a little obsessed with this great weather. I wish it could stay like this all summer long, well maybe just a little warmer. We have been busy playing outside, hanging out with friends, taking pictures and doing yard work (Mostly Chris.) And my sweet Olivia is growing up so fast. She is growing into her cute little spunky personality. Chris told me this morning that she was going to be just like me. ( I don't think he meant that about my good qualities.)
Tomorrow is Mothers day and I look forward to it every year. Chris and the kids spoil me every time. I love being a mom!!! I love all the rewards that come with it. I am so blessed to have a great Mom. She has definitely been a great example to me. I love love you, Mom!

Jamie, I can't wait for you to move. Everyday Owen is asking if Aisy and Jamie are going to move closer to the tennis courts (The ones right by are house. I think that is his way of acknowledging that you are moving closer to us.) So so excited!

Close-Ups

Chris told me I need to take other pictures besides closeups (Which is the only picture I know how to take.) So for my birthday he got me Photography classes. So these pictures are pre-photography classes. We will see how much I learn. Anyone willing to be guinea pigs for my new hobby?

Twenty-Five

I had a great birthday today! Chris was so nice to take the day off and enjoy the whole day with me and the kids. Owen was so excited to give me my presents, that he even told me what it was before I opened it......a slip and slide, buzz light year kite, Dots, and Junior mints. I asked if he was thinking about me or him while picking out my gifts, and he replied "Me". But that was okay, I loved them, and can't wait to play with my new toys with him this summer.

I also received a beautiful new camera from my great in laws, Jimbo and Mary Jane. Thanks so much. We love it! Me and Chris had so much fun taking pictures. We both felt like real professionals with it. I think we took over 200 pictures just today. We are nuts.

Thanks to all my friends and family who called and made my day extra special. I love you all! And Thank you Mom for always telling me the story about the day when I was born. I love to hear it. I am so grateful for you and Dad.

A little bit of an obssesion....

Lately Owen has been sleeping, eating, dreaming, and praying of Tennis. He loves this sport so much and talks about it everyday. He looks so forward to Saturday when he can go play with his Dad. He is actually quite good at it too for a 3 year old. Just last night he said in his prayers, "Please help Danda Ricki find a tennis racket, Please help Danda Jojo (his great grandma Jody) play tennis, Please help Jamie and Azy to play tennis." It is so funny.
Oh and to play tennis you have to be wearing a tennis shirt (underarmor shirt), If you don't have one you need to go buy one. He will not allow you to wear anything else. So Grandma Ricki, Grandma Jojo, Jamie, and Aisy we will see you on the courts this Saturday.

Spring has Sprung

We had such a great Easter! I love this time of year, and the weather was just perfect. Owen was so excited that the Easter Bunny came to his house, and had so much fun finding all the eggs he left. He even managed to save a couple for Olivia, but ended up taking them back from her. And Olivia loved watching Owen and chewing on the plastic eggs, and looking so cute in her Easter dress.

Later for dinner we went to my parents house for a barbecue. We had such a blast, and Owen loved sitting by the fire pit with his Grandpa roasting some marshmellows. Websters I am so glad this is the last Holiday we will have to spend without you. Can't wait until you move closer. Olivia is going to need Aislee to play with soon.

Mom and Dad you are the best! We had so much fun. Owen and Olivia are so lucky to have such great grandparents. They absolutely adore you both! Thank you for spending so much time with them. Love you.

Thanks Jamie!!!!

Jamie thank you so much for the cute dress! I had so much fun getting her dressed up today. I think she even felt like a princess. She was giddy the whole time I was getting her dress on, and then couldn't stop smiling at herself in the mirror. Having a little girl is the best!

Why I don't get out that much.....

Yesterday Owen, Olivia, and I got out of the house to go run a couple of errands. When I decided to stop at a little shop to look around. After being in there a couple of minutes, Owen told me he needed to go potty (#2). So I proceeded to help him on the potty (keep in mind I am holding Olivia in one arm this whole time.) Just as I was noticing that I did not position his pee pee well....Too late it is spraying everywhere, all over him the toilet and the floor. Owen the whole time is repeating, "Oh gosh, Oh gosh, Oh gosh. Mommy I am so sorry." Poor kid thought it was his fault. "Mom you need to take me home and give me a bath." No I didn't do that, I continued to get my errands done, while Owen sat in his wet pants the whole time. This is why Moms of two do not get out much.
Chris, I am sorry, but I do not think that you would've been able to tackle this one.
* You definitely have to know Owen, to know how he sounded when he was saying, "Oh gosh." He gets really serious, and talks really slow. He was so so concerned! What a cute little guy.

For all of you who think Olivia looks just like Owen....

Owen and Olivia do look pretty similar to eachother. One difference that I did pick up on while looking through some old pictures is that Olivia is always smiling, unlike Owen who is a bit more serious. What do you think, do they look alike?

I've been Tagged!!!

Jade tagged me, so here it goes....

Q and A:

1. What was I doing ten years ago? I was in ninth grade and getting ready to try out for Alta High Sophomore Cheer. Hanging out non stop with my friends, which most of them I am still friends with today. I remember that my curfew was 10, and I think that I was the only one who had to leave early every night, but my Mom and Dad knew best, and I sure love them!

2. 5 Things to do today? Take care and entertain my cute kidlets, and my nephew Kayden. Try not to eat too many cookies. Cook Dinner for me and two other families. Laundry. And watch Lost season 3 with my Chris.

3. What snacks do I enjoy? Almonds, anything chocolate, fiber bars, bananas, and Chips and Salsa.

4. What would I do if I suddenly were a billionaire? Pay off everyone in my family's mortgage. Buy a second home in some tropical place. Save enough to live on so Chris wouldn't have to work, and give the rest to Charity.

5. 3 bad habits: Germ freak (I now after washing my hands have to put Hand sanitizer on, I just keep getting more of a freak, Poor Chris), I have to vacuum a certain way ( Thanks Dad for that inheritance), and I have a little bit of road rage.

6. 5 jobs I have had: Teller at Keybank and Jordan Credit Union, Waitress at Gurus, Concession stand at Magic Waters, and filer at Lewis insurance.

7. 5 things people don't know about me: I am such a homebody. I still miss my Mom and Dad when they are away. I want to be a photographer. When I was little I was known to make all my sisters cry, because I was so mean (this is all on accounts of them, I don't remember any of it.) I had a nose job 6 years ago, I always hated my nose so opted to get one after Highschool.

Now I tag: Carlee, Erin, and Andy or Emily Rockwood (You can do it I know you can.)

A little about my Bud.....

Owen is such a lovable, sweet, and funny little man, but sometimes he can give me a run for my money. He is growing up so fast, and sometimes I just want it to slow down, because I want him to always love his mommy, and I don't want him to face the real world and some of its harshness. I want him to always be this pure and innocent.
He makes me laugh so much like the other night when I was putting him to bed I said, " Okay lets say our prayers, Owen" and he replied, "No mom me and Dad already prayed that you won't be mad, so now we have to do a tackle." (Sometimes I wonder what Chris is telling Owen)
Owen absolutley adores Olivia so much. I have never had to worry about him around her. He is always wanting to hold, hug, and kiss her. I love it! He told me the other day..."Mom you need to have two more Wibbys (Olivia) one for Dad and one for me."
Some of Owen's favorite things are; Movies (he could watch them all day), Waffles, Chocolate milk, Tennis shirts (underarmor shirts that Grandpa Jim gave him), Playing outdoors, Sports, and of course Me....

Princess Olivia....

Olivia is the sweetest, most happiest baby ever. I love her! I can't wait till she wakes up in the morning, because when I go in there her legs are a kickin, and she is so excited to see me. She is indeed my little princess. And she is so loved in our little family. She has the bluest of blue eyes and a precious smile that won't quit. Everyone needs a little girl. Sometimes I feel a little quilty, I remember when Owen was a baby I would let him cry himself to sleep, but with her anytime she even peeps I am there to hold her and comfort her. Don't get me wrong I love Owen to pieces she is just my little girl, and girls are different than boys, right?
Some of Olivia's favorites are; binki, milk, rice cereal, Owen, Dad, and Me...

Bad stinkin weather=Very sick kids

So it all started last week when Owen and I would go out and shovel the snow after a couple of our big storms. Well along came Croup wednesday night, and it is so scary. I wanted to take him in to the hospital so bad, but you can do alot of treatments at home like take him outside to breathe the cold air, or a steamed shower (Which worked really well.) So now I had to worry about my sweet Olivia getting it and sure enough Saturday night.....Croup. Luckily hers wasn't as bad like Owen's (as you can tell by the pictures.) So it looks like this week we will all be staying indoors. Which does have a couple of pluses, such as, getting to stay in your pajamas all day (me too! Since I am taking care of my kids right?) playing hi-ho cherry-o all day, watching the disney channel, sometimes I can sneak in a couple of soap operas or MTV. Hopefully this bad weather and sick days will go away!
